Short memos with visual aides?  I can relate.  My five year old won't read anything if it doesn't have pictures.

As NATO prepares to host the heads of state of its 28 member nations, organizers are going to extreme lengths to make the meeting palatable to President Trump.

The alliance is asking world leaders to limit the length of their briefings to under four minutes and eliminated the usual publication of an in-depth meeting declaration to accommodate Trump’s gold fish-like attention span and disdain for international affairs.

“It’s kind of ridiculous how they are preparing to deal with Trump,” said one source privy to the meeting’s preparations. “It’s like they’re preparing to deal with a child — someone with a short attention span and mood who has no knowledge of NATO, no interest in in-depth policy issues, nothing. They’re freaking out.”

Perhaps they should start making pop-up memos out of cardboard.

http://www.newsweek.com/trump-cancels-visit-ancient-masada-site-after-israel-blocks-helicopter-landing-611287

We literally have a petulant child as the leader of our country.  Good job, America.

There's no way this will go badly...pissing off Israel seems like a good idea.

As well as the Masada cancellation, Trump will only spend 15 minutes at the national Holocaust memorial Yad Vashem, a move likely to offend the Israelis.

This is so GD embarrassing.

While this is pure nuttery, I suppose it was the inevitable route guys like this would have to take once Trump began imploding. Worse, some of the most nutty Trumpkins will consider this as a call to violent action.

Not only did Trump compromise an asset by divulging confidential information to the Russians.  He also admitted to obstruction of justice.

Yesterday reporters asked trump about collusion between his campaign and russia. He said there was not any collusion between himself and russia and then said he couldn't speak for the campaign though.  So even he doesn't know if there was collusion with russia in his campaign.  He's pretty sure he didn't though.  What a guy.

^ worrying about the important news of our time I see.  Do you think Kushner will follow his dad's footsteps into the federal prison?  I know this is less important than Trump's curtsy vs. Obama's bow.

Trump shakes hands with Saudi leader, doesn't bow as Obama appeared to do

Thanks for pointing out that The Fox news content has hit the toilet. That is when the news staff isn't getting sued/fired for being racist and fondling the female staff. What a classy organization.

Yep, nothing about the blatant obstruction of justice over at Foxnews.com Even though he admitted to it on live TV. Just a bunch of articles about how it's a hoax; more fake news perpetuated by the liberal lame-stream media.

He keeps telling on himself; he's too stupid to even stick to the story his administration puts out there.

The whole Fox strategy is slowly unraveling. During the age of relative political decorum, Fox could exist inside a world of plausible deniability and pretend to be journalism with a legitimate conservative bias. But in reality it was never a political movement. It was a business strategy. Create a niche media market of freaked out old people.

They can't abandon that now. This was a business model.

In the last two weeks, Trump gave classified information to the Russians, betrayed an ally, called Comey a "nut job" in front of the Russians, admitted firing Comey "took the pressure of him and Fox News is talking about something  Obama did 5 yrs ago. Oh yeah...I almost forgot to mention Trump's campaign is under investigation and Special Counsel was appointed by someone Trump appointed.

But in reality it was never a political movement. It was a business strategy. Create a niche media market of freaked out old people.

They can't abandon that now. This was a business model.

I think back to the early 90s, when Clinton was elected, and just a few years after the repeal of the fairness doctrine, Rush Limbaugh came out of nowhere and consumed the hearts and minds of a significant percentage of the WWII generation.  I remember riding around in the car with my grandfather listening to who he called "his buddy" Rush.  After 2-3 years he quit listening to him but the Limbaugh poison is what Fox copied on its nascent TV network.

i still kind of remember those early Rush Limbaugh broadcasts and all of the talking points he had back then are still the central thrust of right wing "media".  Every day they pound these same ideas into the minds of their public.  All of it was enabled by the repeal of the fairness doctrine and the appearance of cable and the space for niche political news that didn't exist when there were only three national networks.

The thing is that all of that simply accelerated by 10-20 years what would have happened with the internet.  When the internet began, we thought people were going to seek out facts.  Instead, now that everyone is on it, people generally seek out reinforcement of their pre-existing beliefs.
