I can't stand the Cynthia Nixon mentality. It's bizarro left-Trumpism. "I have never done anything in my life or had to make a tough decision but I'm going to stand here and criticize everyone who has and act like I know everything, because I'm a TV star. If I ever get elected I'm going to completely embarrass myself due to my ignorance and the sudden need to, gasp, make compromises."

Hope Cuomo crushes her.

The Governor I guess gets some legitimate criticism thrown at him, I am a big admirer of his father so I probably cut him a lot of slack based on that.

Following a historic come-from-behind victory Tuesday and harsh criticism from President Donald Trump and Republican nominee Ron DeSantis, Gillum’s campaign Wednesday hauled in more than a million dollars in contributions – doubling what was until now the campaign’s best week of fundraising, Aug. 4 – 10 when it reported it had raised $509,000.

From Public Policy Polling - in the first post-primary Florida poll:

Gillum leads DeSantis 48-43%
Nelson leads Scott 46-45%

Gillum holds a 34-point lead over DeSantis among independents.

@Ram23 you told us to follow the trend.  How's the trend looking?

Last five GCB polls show Dems up +13, +11, +13, +14, and +11.

NC-02 may be in play, despite gerrymandering.  This seat is listed as Lean-Republican by several publications, but the latest poll shows the Democratic challenger Linda Coleman up 44-43.

https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/407369-poll-beto-orourke-leads-cruz-by-2-points-in-texas-senate-race

Beto O'Rourke LEADS Ted Cruz by 2% in latest Ipsos/Reuters poll.

He trailed by 9 in a poll yesterday.  This one's going to be hard to poll.  Beto's strategy is to bring out people who don;t always vote.  I think that is tough to poll.  None the less, I love that GOP need to spend resources holding onto a Senate seat in TX.

The Ipsos poll was an online survey and they used their own "likely voter" model.  Quinnipiac (Cruz +9) was a phone survey.  Who knows what is more accurate.

Anyone who bans the press from an event is one of two things: 1) A thin-skinned mental midget incapable of enduring critique, or 2) saying things he/she doesn't want to be made public.
