The survey conducted by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research and MTV found that 57 percent of parents and 73 percent of young people ages 15 to 26 disapprove of the president’s performance.

Wow.  Trump's disapproval rating among people ages 15-26 is 73%.

Also, to the entire cult thing re: Trump supporters...

That's kind of why I think this entire thing is more about psychology than policy.

Trump supporters have doubled down so many times and spent so much capital on him that they feel as if they can't bail now and there is no way out. That's exacerbated by people constantly telling them when they're wrong, usually via the President's most hated medium - the press. It's all a pressure cooker and is based on emotion.

The guy that approached me last night I'm sure is a regular guy in most aspects of life. But he's clearly committed himself to the President in such a way that rendered him incapable of listening to anything I was saying. It's all odd to me.

Yesterday I watched on Youtube the Thoma-Hawk show, with former Browns Joe Thomas and Andrew Hawkins, interview of QB Baker Mayfield. After their posting of it on Twitter was this comment:
___________

#InGodWeTrust Patriot
‏@larson_hurd

Replying to @joethomas73 @bakermayfield
You and hawk ever tried to get #POTUS on your show. ?

He certainly will never appear on the shit show beginning at 9am...
https://twitter.com/larson_hurd/status/1007024119198765063

__________

These people adore Trump so much that they want to see him everywhere, even on a small-time Browns/sports show. That's a cult, folks.

I most certainly did!!

Serious question--Is there a single living parent of a Korean War veteran anywhere on earth? If not, how did Trump speak with them? A seance?

Trump claims, preposterously, that parents of Korean War veterans came up to him during the 2016 campaign and said, "when you can, we'd love our son to be brought back home -- you know, the remains."
The Korean War ended in 1953. https://t.co/f4HEHZ22YM

Quote
The corporate tax cuts enacted by president Donald Trump and the Republican party are supposed to lure investment back to the US, leading to an increase in wages for working Americans.

But workers’ wages have grown half as slowly in the first five months of 2018, with the tax law in force, compared to the first five months of 2017. And average worker wages were actually higher before the tax law was enacted.

Winning!

Remember when the American media spent weeks "investigating" Clinton "pay-to-play," rarely taking the time to mention the Clinton Foundation is a legitimate charity that saves lives, and not a piggy bank like the Trump Organizaton?

Cheers. We'll clean up the mess.

SPEAKER PAUL RYAN, HOUSE MAJORITY WHIP STEVE SCALISE and about three dozen other members of the House were at the event. Protect the House is a committee designed to help vulnerable House Republicans.

I was actually wondering that, because sometimes federal investigations get referred to state AG's

The investigation into the foundation began when Trump held the "veteran;s event" because he was afraid of Megyn Kelly.  Farenthold dogged the campaign to find out where the money went.  This is why Trump hates the lying press.

Trump refused to pay for hole-in-one contest.

Here is the receipt of Donald Trump directing his Foundation funds to be used to settle a lawsuit related to Mar A Lago.

The Foundation made up claims of contributions to charitable organizations.

Trump took money he raised for veteran's charities right before the Iowa caucus and put $2.823 million of it through his Foundation.

This lawsuit may be a bigger deal than it appears on its face. It's a piercing of the corporate veil of the Trump Organization and his alleged violation of two emoluments clauses in the Constitution. Let's consider this article from last year.....

Trump can be held accountable for violating the Constitution, even if Congress doesn’t care

Reading over the New York AG complaint, you have to wonder: If this is what a small corner of Trump's business dealings looks like, what might Mueller have found?

So it stands to reason that America should rip up the Paris Treaty of 1783 and submit to English authority?

Wow: TRUMP in a private conversation with G7 leaders essentially parroted PUTIN's line on Crimea: that it is Russian because everyone who lives there speaks Russian.

Trump Told World Leaders Crimea Is Russian Because Everyone There Speaks Russian
Trump made the remarks over dinner with other world leaders at the G7 summit in Canada.

President Donald Trump told G7 leaders that Crimea is Russian because everyone who lives there speaks Russian, according to two diplomatic sources.

Trump made the remarks over dinner last Friday during a discussion on foreign affairs at the G7 summit in Quebec, Canada, one of the diplomats told BuzzFeed News.
