These pics kinda got warehoused, apologies for the delay..

To illustrate the need of bringing the Shoreway down to grade...

The WHD Constantino's is a supremely awesome store...Hope they still do well post-Heinen's

The first pic gets the Stonebridge condos, whereas this one really illustrates what's prob a 100 ft drop

Horrible restaurant

Whyyyy is this street always so dead

Should have turned this into Toby Keith's redneck honky tonk

An eyesore entry way to what should be a grand promenade

Flats West Bank "skyline"

Flats East Bank "skyline"

HORRIBLE intersection

WHD "skyline"

Hope you enjoyed.

I've wondered, if new development goes here, is there anything in place to protect the Pinnacle residents views from being obstructed?

It's a clean, quiet residential area, especially the area at the bottom of the hill between St. Clair and Old Superior where the Waterfront Line is now.

And what did that area look like in 1976?

Or in 1968?

Or 1972?

So that was then, this is now......

No comparison.

Awesome photo-essay, eurokie.  That I've emailed it to friends who've never been to Cleveland let's you know what I think of it... It also is visual evidence that our development of the Cuyahoga riverfront residentially is a lot more advanced that many of us think <--- serious cognitive dissonance.
