The Northend is wedged between German Village and Dayton Lane Historic District, the Hamilton Hydraulic, and Greenwood Cemetery. Greenwood was designed by Adolph Strauch who also did Cincy's Spring Grove Cemetery. The youngest player ever to pitch in major league baseball, Joe Nuxhall grew up in the Northend.
