Greenville (pop: 13,294) beats all expectations. The former site of Anthony Wayne's Fort Greene Ville (named after Nathanael Greene), the town was host to the signing of the Treaty of Greeneville. Signed in 1795, the treaty brought peace between the Indians and pioneers in Ohio. Today, the seat of Darke County is worthy of exploration.
