Xenia (pop: 24,164) is the county seat of Greene County, the suburban county east of Dayton. Xenia's reputation as the Tornado Capital of Ohio is sad yet it has remarkable architecture including the Greene County Courthouse and Dodds Monuments, the Blue Jacket Outdoor Drama, Wilberforce University (the very first historically black college in the country), Central State University (another HBCU), and the National Museum of Afro-American History.Â
