Troy (pop: 21,999) is one of Ohio's most beautiful small towns. With an active, vibrant downtown and Town Square, Troy showcases bakeries, restaurants, shops, and one of the best courthouses in the state (along with Warren's). Troy even has a downtown movie theater complex, a wonderful central fountain, and Lafayette and French architecture. The county seat of Miami County, Troy is located 20 miles north of Dayton and is one of the most northern suburbs of the region. The diverse city is very safe and very community-oriented.
