Lockland (pop: 3,707) is an inner-ring suburb of Cincinnati located along the old Miami Erie Canal (on the site of former locks, of course) and I-75. In fact, the city is probably best known for the Lockland split, where I-75 splits with the northern direction cutting into Reading to avoid Downtown Lockland as the former canal channel that the freeway was originally constructed in was not wide enough to accommodate six lanes.
