West Price Hill is normally just called Price Hill but since the neighborhood is so large, West Price Hill is more of distinguishing from East and Lower Price Hill. Home of once the city's Italians, Germans, Irish, and Greeks, West Price Hill has many Italian parlors, Irish pubs, Price Hill Chili, and "cornholing," a westside game where one tosses a bean bag into holes. Don't ask. Regardless, West Price Hill has always been a great immigrant neighborhood full of ethnic restaurants and shops for the working class. The neighborhood is also home of Elder High School, home of the "Elder Nation" (one of the largest alumni high schools in the country). Again, don't ask. West Price Hill is in its own world and that is why it's one of the best in the city.
