Madisonville

Madisonville was once a small village on the eastern fringe of the "old" metropolitan area of Cincinnati. Annexed by the city early on, it is the east side's primary black neighborhood and has wonderful independent shops, a fantastic library, nice parks, and a variety of housing (from shotguns to ornate Victorian). The neighborhood has seen better days but is improving every day.
