New Straitsville (pop: 774) is located in the Little Cities of the Black Diamond Region in a valley just south of the notorious Shawnee. The Hocking Valley Railroad brought original life to the town. New Straitsville now shines brightest each Memorial Day when they hold their famous Moonshine Festival.
