Ambridge (pop: 7,439) was once the home of the American Bridge Company, which help build superstructures like Verrazano Narrows Bridge in New York and the Bay Bridge in California. The city's main attraction, the Old Economy Village, was once the home of the Harmony Society, a 19th century religious communal society. While the downtown is clearly not as vibrant as it once was, it still is very much intact and still has a mill town feel.
