Brownsville

Brownsville (pop: 2,804) is one of Pennsylvania's more fascinating towns. With two business districts (the larger one almost completely abandoned and the smaller one slightly more active) and being one of western Pennsylvania's oldest towns, Brownsville lies along good ole' US Route 40 (the National Highway) southeast of Pittsburgh. Brownsville is the home of the Dunlap Creek Bridge, the nation's oldest dateable cast-iron bridge.
