St. Paul (pop: 287,151) may be the smaller of the Twin Cities, but it should not be overlooked due to its rich historic character and status as the capitol of Minnesota. With landmarks including St. Paul Cathedral, the Cass Gilbert-designed Minnesota State Capitol Building, and quaint downtown squares, St. Paul is a fine compliment to modern Minneapolis.
