East Liverpool (pop: 13,089) is/was Ohio's Pottery Capital. The largest city in Columbiana County and is in the transition zone between Northeast Ohio and Appalachian Ohio. Their downtown has wonderful architecture while the Museum of Ceramics intrigues visitors. The old Carnegie Public Library is noteworthy architecturally.
