Ya know those billboards that are all over the Cincinnati area proclaiming that "God Listens"?  I think its an ad for Mike McConnell on Am 700.  I heard on the radio today that one of them got some additional verbage added by some graphitti artists so that it reads "God Listens to Slayer".  Has anyone seen this?  I heard its on the west side.  I would LOVE a pic of it if anyone has seen it.

This is true, I used to see it in the morning on my way to work.  It was on River Road in Riverside, facing west just before the "S" curve between Lillianthall and Hillside.  It was a black billboard with white lettering that said "God Listens to Mike McConnell" with the WLW logo under it.  The person used black spraypaint to mark out "Mike McConnell" and with a different color added "Slayer".  They put up a new one with the same ad very quickly, but I noticed this morning it's been replaced by a different billboard.  Sorry...No pictures

WLW under fire again

CINCINNATI - A second WLW-AM promotional campaign in four months has prompted a national Hispanic organization to demand the resignation of Clear Channel market manager Chuck Fredrick.

A WLW-AM (700) promotion offering “helpful phrases” to communicate with illegal aliens, with Mexican music in the background, is proof that Fredrick “reneged on his commitment” to “prevent future offensive materials” on the station after removing its “The Big Juan” billboards in May, says Brent A. Wilkes, League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) national executive director.

... is hilarious!

Although I'm not Mexican, I can understand the community's distrust and concern.

--- Quote ---Jason Riveiro, the league’s Cincinnati-based Ohio deputy director, says the promotion is “insulting” because of the stereotype, and because of the background music implying that all illegal aliens are Hispanic.

Aint that the truth!
