This is the official UrbanOhio meet that will perhaps take place in May or June, but clearly after the Cincinnati and Cleveland regional meets.  This meeting will take place in the State Capitol Rotunda and EVERYBODY in the state of Ohio on this forum (and your fellow urbanist friends) along with out-of-state guests are invited.  And yes, ColDayMan will be handing out chocolate buckeye candies (like the past UrbanOhio MegaMeet a couple years ago) and I'll be in charge of this event (along with my fellow Columbus forumers).

This is the time when people can get together from all parts of the state and meet, laugh, dine, and tour around our capital city.

Where:  Ohio State Capitol Building, Rotunda, downtown Columbus

When:  Saturday, June 10th

What time:  Noon

What are we doing?:  The tour consists of starting with a walking tour of downtown, Short North, Victorian Village, Dennison Place, Ohio State, and finally the German Village. Lunch will be at the North Market and dinner in the German Village.

Driving Directions:  Get to downtown Columbus (junction of I-71 and I-70) and park in City Center Mall ($1.00 all day) at Main Street.  Be sure to bring $3 for the bus.

Thanks, PigBoy.  I did not do the tour of German Village (just from the Statehouse to the coffee shop on High).  Nearly a six mile walk, huh?  Talk about bragging rights :-D

So how many people ended up winning the Triple Crown this year?  ColDayMan and Rob were at all three meets - anyone else?

Some people are like slinkies -- not much good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

Glad everyone had a great time!
I love it when people come into a message board and immediately begin to mix it up.  I mean, Jesus, at least say hello!  Do you walk into a room full of strangers, pick a random woman, and tell her she's fat? - buildingcincinnati
