I'd be curious to see the views that Andrea's has.

Bistro seating on the boardwalk puts you practically on the water, perfect for watching yacht club sailboat races that are held on Wednesdays.
I think that the jcrew location was released to the art gallery for a while. it started as a trial, but i'm pretty sure they are staying there for now.i think the best location would be right on the square. this is what everyone has been asking for: restaurants on the square. open up the first floor dillards space and it would have frontage on both ontario and public square, with potential for patio dining under awning area. additionally, would be able to access from within terminal tower lobby as well...just imagine...people sitting at tables eating, drinking and socializing instead of people pissing and asking for money...
the pissing and the asking-for-money crowd would more than likely stay put. Additionally, most of public square is one giant bus shelter that can attract a motley crue.
too bad the waterfront line rapid does not go out to quay55 like it should for this. ah well, someday.
ah, where is the Lakefront Blvd; development plan now?
Quote from: clvlndr on August 17, 2006, 05:05:38 PMah, where is the Lakefront Blvd; development plan now?Actually, this is one of the large projects that is closest to reality. I know for a fact that most of the engineering is complete, and ODOT has money in place to move forward with it. I guess we kind of diverted in this thread...exciting project however.
they were trying to get people in for their happy hour yesterday, so i guess they must have the liquor license now.
First phase of the lakefront boulevard is in the requisite planning stages by ODOT....ReconstructionLAKEFRONT WESTCleveland:SR 2 from Lake Rd to Main Ave77330 analyzed CUY US006-12.20PE ODOT $640,000 2006PE S/STP $2,560,000 2006RW ODOT $5,000,000 2007C ODOT $8,000,000 2008C S/STP $32,000,000 2008TOTAL $48,200,000Look for the elevated portion through downtown to be lowered to street level as part of Pesht. From East 9th to the Inner Belt, I could not find any documentation in NOACA documents of pending or emerging plans for conversion of this roadway into a boulevard. This activity would have to, at least, be placed on NOACA's long-range plan in order to proceed.East of there to MLK, the East Shoreway is in NOACA's Tier III stage of planning, meaning that no construction funds can be allocated to it until the planning is complete. The city of Cleveland and ODOT are listed as project sponsors.
