Interesting!  Nice shots of that Marathon Oil adminstrative complex.  Wow..a massive corporate HQ building right in the middle what looks like a fairly typical Ohio county seat town.

Some pretty fabulous detail on the courthouse!
Better than ever, and always growing! My photography web site

Some people are like slinkies -- not much good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs.

Well.  That city is interesting.
I love it when people come into a message board and immediately begin to mix it up.  I mean, Jesus, at least say hello!  Do you walk into a room full of strangers, pick a random woman, and tell her she's fat? - buildingcincinnati

it's a nice place. they also have another big company hq--whirpool. i was an intern there for a year in grad school. i had to switch from my 20+ mile north commute from bg to toledo for my college job to my 20+ mile south commute to findlay. mostly all i recall is i hated that drive in the dead of winter, but one time there was a rare 'inversion sunrise' on the way and all the cars on the highway pulled over on I-75 to look at it. i'll never forget that, it was rare weather event-- the sun looked like an hourglass shape in the sky, very haunting, i've never seen anything like it since.

^I meant Troy looks more alive, but Findlay looks like it has the potential, although I agree Findlay is much larger. The courthouse in Troy is ugly, thats for sure.

what a neat city, larger than I would have expected somehow.  It is very tidy, and the architecture is 'substantial', well built, solid stock.  thx for the many pix

I drove through Findlay a couple of years ago, and I thought the downtown was kinda nice.  Thanks for reminding me about why I liked it.  Nice pics. :-D
