4 condos, build to suit.  Each comes with parking garage spot (accessed on Bolivar), and even better, in the basement each unit has it's own wine cellar / storage room.  I love this place.

MTS you are a funny guy, the comment was just a reaction to the design of the apartment.  Could you think of any apartments in Cleveland that would compare to the design, quality, mood of this unit?

LMAO!  The first thing I thought when I saw those pictures was that it would be amazing to live there.  My second thought was how hard it would be to keep all that glass free from fingerprints...then I decided that I wouldn't want to live there.

I've got it bad for this building/unit. I watched them renovate the building from my old job, and now to see the inside...Wow, I'm smitten! That's the kind of design and look I've been hoping for in Cleveland. Add the fact that they are taking the facades off the buildings on Euclid and the new stuff in the Flats, including that eco-hotel (can't wait to get a drink in that lounge!!!!!!). Loving Cleveland right now...sort of getting bored of Lakewood! ;)

Is that the 4 or 5 story building east of the old Carter Manor that used to be an eyesore but is being rehabbed?   Apartment could be an art studio - very classy.  A little stark/cold though, needs funiture,  lol.

Although, I am not a lover of new buildings and like prewar details inside a home, that apartment is white hot!  I wouldn't live there, but it's far from stark.

We all need a girlfriend! OK, fine, I need one. :-D

And what is up with all these youngin's and their lack of appreciation of exposed brick?? Don't you start covering over these places with metal siding when you grow up to become property owners and developers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a reservation on one of the units in the Joshua Hall building for a while before settling on the WHD. The guys who own this unit put over $100,000 in structural changes into it. They basically made a smallish 2 BR into a giant open monstrosity with a lot of architechtural charm but not so much usable space. They bumped the roof out and built an extra 1/2 storey on top to account for some of those wild room transitions and heights. Its basically 3 "floors" now.

In any case, those guys are not looking for a girlfriend, I am afraid to say!

GoTeenb:

What did you like not like about the building, location, builders, neighbors (in and out of the building)

Why did you put a reservation in on it?....why did you walk away?

I have looked at this place a couple of time and am seriously considering it/

The structural changes actually added 250 square feet to the unit, bringing it up to 1,450sf, and thankfully the $100,000 is a bit of an exaggeration.
No usable space though?  It's floors are completely open.

Prospect Place building is awesome.  ive been looking all over downtown for a 2 bedroom place.  exposed brick... finished concrete floors.  i cant wait to move in.  the only problem is the bed room walls dont go all the way to the ceiling... it's gonna be noisy...

I don't believe anyone ever posted a picture of the completed renovated front of this rather attractive little building.

It's unfortunate that this city has knocked down so many similiar sized buildings because a small developer that wants to do little projects here and there has a limited number a options.  Can't build new (too expensive) and can't compete with the big boys and buy larger properties (way too expensive).  This 15,000 sf building was bought for $250,000 five years ago, and converted into 4 condos and office/retail on the first floor, managable for the small local developers who are doing it to make an impact on their city, and make a buck or two.
