I wish every week was "beer week"...

Cleveland Beer Week taps into area's love for craft brews

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- "It takes beer," the German proverb goes, "to make thirst worthwhile." And it takes Cleveland, perhaps, to make a worthwhile beer week. That's right: After 11¾ months of waiting, the other holy week has arrived.

In only its second year, Cleveland Beer Week-- which is technically nine days, Friday through Saturday, Oct. 23 -- has exploded like a keg tossed into a bonfire. More than 375 events ... at more than 100 venues ... involving at least 95 breweries. It's OK to weep, Hopheads; have a seat, rest a bit.

Ales on Rails sounds awesome.
"Cleveland, as you see, is not an apple, but a bunch of grapes each of which has its own particular pattern-some large, others small, some round, others long and narrow, some sweet, others sour, some sound, others rotten throughout."  -Howard Whipple Green, 1932
