On my way home from Battle Creek and Kalamazoo we stopped in Galesburg. This town made me sad, it has certainly seen better days. But it received a large grant to revitalize its downtown.
*Population 1,988 (2000 Census)
*Kalamazoo County
*Kalamazoo is about 10 miles west and Battle Creek 10 miles east.

Man even the city hall is abandoned. Great Architecture though!!
So are they planning on using the Grant money to rehab downtown's abandoned buildings?
