There should definitely be more people there. What could attract more people? Parking appears to be free, there could be some bike racks, maybe a few medians for pedestrian crossings, more bars? I like the wayfinding signage too.

I had a friend from Kalamazoo who absolutely hated growing up there—too starchy and conservative, but it looks nice (actually her disatisfaction was really rooted in a dysfunctional family situation--like most of us-lol). In any case, I love this song. How can you go wrong with Glenn Miller, Tex Beneke and the Nicholas Brothers?

I want to say non-passenger railroad depot but at the moment I can't recall if that's just something I was thinking while looking at it or what I read on a sign.  There's a passengery looking building out of frame to the left.

Trivia for the day -- the Desenberg Building, 2nd from the right in the 4th picture down, was designed by the noted Chicago architectural firm of Adler and Sullivan.
