I had no idea this thread would be so wildly popular through the years, as an outlet to vent about petty stuff during your day-to-day grind. I should have set it up in a way that I could charge you motherf*ckers.
People that charge / plug in their electronics on the subway and let the cords dangle across the aisle. At least sit in a seat above an outlet. Same goes with stations. If people abuse this by creating a trip hazard, they're just going to put locks on all the plugs.
That's the big thing now -- putting electrical outlets and wi-fi all over the place in airports, on trains and other public and quasi-public spaces.

^Yes and that really annoys me. I'll try to have a conversation with someone and they're just like, "mmhmm"...staring at and touching the screen of their phone.
Pet peeve: Clevelanders thinking UO is a Cleveland forum.

At least Cincinnatians come in second in terms of numbers and Cincinnatians take great pride in their city's history and development. Hell, the Cincinnati Streetcar thread has like 20 people viewing it (and are actually prone to engaging in conversation) at any given time. Columbusites come in third on here and to make matters worse, they tend (not specifically on this site but in general) to be pretty apathetic when it comes to city affairs or just the culture of the city in general. They tend to not realize what they have here.
I think the other Columbusites are all over at Columbus Underground. Cleveland, Cincy and Ohio's other cities don't have something as popular as that.

Bellyfat.I am finished with the word. I don't want to see it on a banner ad, I don't want to hear it in a radio commercial, I don't want to see it on late night TV preceding a Tim Misny commercial. The word is irredeemably childish. It sounds like what a four year old child might say describing Santa Clause. I would imagine the word was focused grouped to appeal to 'lite beer' drinking, drivethrough eating, nascar watching exurbanites whose idea of a good time is seeing if they can finish the 50 mcNuggets box all on their own while listening to the most recent Keith Urban pity twang fest. Die Bellyfat, Die!

I can't see loyalty to Columbus Underground making much of an impact.
