This was a great event...and the free Christian Moerlein certainly didn't hurt.  Here are some pictures from the festivities and throughout the great old building that is now being renovated into 19 new residential units ranging from the mid-100's to the mid-200's.  Enjoy.

2. Notice the keg detailing on the railing(s)

4. Now this is a great American

5. And another...

6. This was kind of awkward given the very pro-streetcar crowd in attendance

7. The ceremonial 'wall knocking'

8. The new historical marker for OTR's Brewery District

9.

10. New signage that is to be installed along McMicken to pay tribute to the Brewery District's great history

11. How would you like this view everyday

Now onto a tour through the building...

29. I wonder where this used to lead...maybe part of those notorious tunnels through the Brewery District

Fabulous structure. It'll be interesting to see how that takes shape, and I hope it succeeds. So many cities have destroyed assets like that.

"great" American?, I'm flattered.

It was a fun event, thanks to everyone who came out.

Keep an eye out, there are more surprises in store soon for the Brewery District.

Nice pictures of a great building. I'm so glad they will be converting the basement into a recreation room!

When we give the Architreks tours, we take our customers to the Clyffside. I'm really happy that we can now say the building is being turned into condos.

I didn't see the historical markers last weekend. Did I miss them or are they not yet installed?

I don't think any of them are installed yet.  I was under the impression that they were just unveiled last weekend....

As of Sunday the Remain Breweries sign was on display in the makeshift Alehouse at Findlay market for the brewery tour (which was pretty cool by the way)...

Yes, it was cool :)  I was there "hawking" streetcars all day Saturday and part of the day on Sunday!
