Clock committee at $16,000

NORWALK - The Fix the Clock Committee has surpassed the halfway point.

Huron County Treasurer Kathleen Schaffer, who also is the committee treasurer, said the group has collected around $16,000 so far.

Estimates have come in at $25,000 to $30,000 to repair the courthouse clock and get the chimes working once again.
