So today, the new main branch of the Wayne County Public Library opened. I didn't have a lot of time, but I grabbed a few shots of it, and some other projects in Wooster. In addition, as I walked around, I took a few other shots as well. Enjoy!
So first, the library: The first shot is of the back, where I parked.

(it was kind of cloudy today, so these shots aren't the best. I don't know if you can see it, but above the front door it says "PUBLIC LIBRARY." Kind of cool.)
While trying to find a parking spot, I shot this out of the window of my car. This is the one that we talked about in the other thread that was formerly blue. They're almost finished, and I like it, but it doesn't have a lot of character IMO.
These others are over on the opposite end of Liberty St. This used to be a car dealership, the guy who owned it would always be on roller skates in his ads. This is turning out really well also, I'm just glad they were able to save it.

This empty lot used to have a huge building on it, but it burned down sometime in 1999 while they were restoring it. It's going to become a park, which will definitely be better than what it is now.
This last "project" might be familiar to some of you who have been through or in Wooster and know where Seattle's Coffee House is. This is going to be their new location sometime soon. It will have as much restroom space as the current building has in eating space, according to the Daily Record. The city is starting a streetscape project this year which will improve all of Beall Ave., and moving in is meant to coincide with that.

The rest of these are buildings I liked as I passed through. Some of them I'd never really paid attention to before...like the most awesome former Enterprise Rental Car I've ever seen. Somebody's gotta restore this!

(I find that sign kind of creepy. There hasn't been a building there for years, and this was all in some back alley. I used the zoom liberally to get a shot of this. :p)

And I'll close out with something I saw yesterday. Woohoo!
