I love it when people come into a message board and immediately begin to mix it up.  I mean, Jesus, at least say hello!  Do you walk into a room full of strangers, pick a random woman, and tell her she's fat? - buildingcincinnati

London is expensive.  When I worked for that back stabbing lying oil company I lived there for a lil over a year.  London is expensive...I always felt like I was broke.

Oh I was broke...Those depression induced shopping sprees at Harvey Nic's can do some major damage to your bank account, but atleast I was fashionable!

Yeah I think its the most expensive city (or one of the most expensive cities) in the world. Along with Tokyo. My grandparents live in Yokohama and save a lot of money even though my grandpa has to commute to Tokyo all the time for his clients, its pretty easy when you have the fastest trains in the world.

Yes, they are all expensive.  As you can see NYC is No. 13, and Cleveland is 109.  Puts "expensive" downtown cleveland housing in perspective, doesn't it?

Cleveland's cost of living is lower than Detroit.....!?!?!!!??!? Ooooh I see... Detroits cost of living is more expensive because you have to rebuy everything in your house a few times a year after the break-ins. Interesting methodology.

Top 5 I want to visit:
1.  Reykjavik
2.  Tokyo
2.  Hong Kong
4.  Cape Town
5.  Vancouver

Just for fun, here are my top 5 cities I have visited:
1.  NYC, good ole USofA
2.  Krakow, Poland
3.  St. Petersburg, Russia
4.  Capri, Italy
5.  Lucerne, Switzerland

And maybe less fun...here are the top 5 cities where I felt like money was being literally being Hoovered out of my pockets:
1.  Helsinki, Finland - maybe I was being charged triple since I can't make heads or tails of their alphabet
2.  Paris, France -last year on my way home from India I stopped over in Paris where I managed to spend more money in 48 hours there than I had in the entire month before that in Bangalore
3.  NYC - $10 beers will kill you everytime
4.  Las Vegas - staying awake 24 straight hours means 24 straight hours of blowing cash.
5.  Montreal - not cheap and the weak dollar doesn't do you any favors.

Havana seems like a beautiful place, but also, being in Havana or Pyongyang is like being in Oppositeland. I bet places like that open your eyes to a lot of things. Things you won't see in London or Tokyo (places that culturally, are extremely similar to America). That's why I want to go, anyway.

Honestly, other than sports rivalries I don't know anyone from Ohio who dislikes Pittsburgh. In fact, most people I know (myself included) appreciate the topography, the cultural institutions, etc. What I have noticed though is that quite a few Pittsburghers/Pennsylvanians have a bizarre dislike for anything Ohio, especially Cleveland. The few I've asked never gave any answer other than "I dunno - I just don't like it". :wtf:

Shoot...works both ways. I can't ever say anything nice about the city of Pittsburgh without criticism. :[ Usually stems from football and certain people stealing a superbowl.

David, your polling place called.  Since its raining in Cincinnati, they said you could vote on Wednesday!   :-D
When they called you did they interrupt your klan/NRA meeting?
