East Cleveland (pop: 27,217) was once one of the richest communities
in the Cleveland area. Locally famous for Forest Hill Park and also
locally infamous for the gritty reputation it currently has, East Cleveland
was a big part of General Electric with the lamp factory and research
laboratory. The city is very dense and would be the east side's
equivalent to Lakewood (urban-wise, not socially). Oh, and some Bone Thugs and Harmony (rap group)
members are from there
too...
