| Tremont
is the city's trendiest area (for now). It is a collection of
wood-frame houses with many churches, mercados, and chic restaurants,
Tremont has grown from a decrepit area into a gentrified success.
Also, the views from Tremont of the city are, well,
amazing. The neighborhood is centered around a town square (Lincoln
Park) where Eastern European immigrants settled in the early 20th
century. Duck Island is an
interesting sub-neighborhood in Tremont, seeing how it is a collection of
ethnic groups along with a famous bakery, Haab's.
